Pumpkin Patch Day!

Finley's co-op pre-school had a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch today at Thomasson Family Farm (I think I spelled it right?) in Enumclaw. It was a beautiful drive out there with the golden maples and a few red oaks and vine maples scattered around. It was a new farm for us to visit and our class voted it the best one yet. Lot's of really creative stuff; an entire room of straw bale walls filled with seed corn! Like a giant sensory table! Finley and Evelyn both loved it. They also had animals, two corn mazes, a playground with slides made out of hay bales, a course with John Deere tricycles to ride and a great wagon ride behind the tractor. The kids got an ice cream bar (which we missed because we were too busy playing on the fun playground!) and a pumpkin to take home. All for $5! What a deal. The kids were sooo tired on the way home. We stayed from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. so they were beat!
