First Days of Preschool

Finley and Evelyn started their preschool classes this week at our co-op. This will be Finley's fourth year there and Evelyn's first! She is in the one-year-old class and really enjoyed watching all the other little ones and the fun toys and learning centers.

Evelyn telling Daddy about her first day at school and getting to play with hats and purses and the water table and playdough and all sorts of sensory toys. She is in the Red Class for one-year-olds.

Such a grown up boy! Finley will be five in November and I can hardly believe it! His first day in the Purple Class was Tuesday, September 16.

Alzheimer's Walk, Sunday September 14

Last Sunday we joined Todd's co-workers at the Memory Walk at Sandpoint, Magnuson Park, to raise awareness and research funds to fight Alzheimers disease. A truly terrible one, indeed. The sun was out and the views beautiful over Lake Washington. Finley and Evelyn were a bit tired by the time were only three quarters of the way through so we took a short cut and spent some time at the great playground there. A nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
