Evelyn and the Potty

Just a quick note to celebrate Evelyn starting to use the potty! Not consistently, but at least once a day, we actually make it there in time for her to use it instead of her diaper. We aren't making a big deal out of it since I don't want to make it too stressful when she doesn't get there in time. She is showing most the signs of potty training readiness so I am hoping this isn't a "false start". Finley wasn't completely out of pull ups until a month or so after Evelyn was born and by that time he had turned four. I know it can be a long process and kids are ready when they're ready. I just want to do my part though, so I don't hold her up if she's really ready!

An interesting side note is that Finley is not sure he wants his sister to grow up! He told me he doesn't want her to learn to talk or use the toilet. He likes her as a baby, he says. :) The past few days though, they've had so much fun playing together that I imagine he's rethinking that sentiment.
