A Chapman Family Reunion, Bumping Lake

My brother Peter, the mountaineer, brought along some portable fun for us; a slack line, that offers climbers a way to practice their agility and balance.

Finley's feet.

Jade and Kaleb enjoying some male bonding on a hot afternoon.

What a four year old takes pictures of...

Our only complaint was the dust. It was so dry and dusty that dust seemed to settle into every crevice of our clothing, toes, shoes and nostrils!

Sweet little noggins: Evelyn and Makayla playing by Mom and Dad's trailer.

Finley, learning about pumps and wells and walking to get water.

My cousin Ted, the Grizzly!

Uncle David, from Finley's point of view. :)

Another "Portrait by Finley"; Brittany and Lauren in between rounds of "Campground Croquet", in which we took turns pummeling a rock with croquet mallets through the wickets in the underbrush and pine trees. Indescribable...

Having live music at our family reunions is just one of the things I love about getting together with everyone.

Blake, David and Peter playing some guitar in the shade.
